Magnitude 7.2 Earthquake hits Tajikistan

A magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit the mountainous  region of Tajikistan earlier today, December 7, 2015.

The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed the earthquake rattled, rumbled roads and buildings in the area.
It was also reported that the epicenter of the quake was 109 kilometers west of the mountainous region of Murghob.
The large magnitude also shocked other neighboring countries including New Delhi in India and Islamabad in Pakistan.
