In just 26
seconds from Round 1, Brandon Vera became the new king of the heavyweight
division during his debut in the One FC Championship clash with Paul Cheng.

The main event was dubbed as the One FC: Spirit of
Champions held earlier, December 11, 2015 at the Mall of Asia Arena, in Manila,
Philippines.
The Filipino slugger went on to his prowess and
unleashed a flurry of punches on the Chinese champion. But, Cheng could not
take the speed and power of Vera which sends him to the octagon floor. The crowd
was all cheers for the big win that their Filipino idol captured the
championship belt.

Although aged at 38 years, Brandon Vera showcased
multiple abilities and strengths which led him to grab his first win in the Once
FC tournament. He now improved his winning record to 14 wins and 7 losses.
Sadly for Cheng, his four fight winning run was snapped by
the Filipino slugger and dropped his record to 5 wins and 2 losses. Cheng is
only the replacement opponent to Vera which was originally Chi Lewis Parry.
