The eight final contenders were shortlisted in hundreds of candidates to be the lone winner of TIME Magazines's Person of the Year 2015.
The list was chosen by editors of the prestigious TIME Magazine and was revealed on national television at NBC Today show, last Monday, December 7, 2015.

He is the CEO of the famous car-hailing company, Uber. However, plenty have criticized it about the downside of the sharing economy.
5. Angela Merkel
She is German Chancellor which gained enormous criticisms with major news happenings in Europe especially the economic strife in the Eurozone and the migrant problems in the continent.
6. Vladimir Putin
The Russian president has time and again defied Western sanctions with his powerful military activities in countries like Ukraine and play a vital role in the war against ISIS.
7. Hassan Rouhani
